Feltre - Visit to Oasis Vincheto Celarda

A NATURE RESERVE

A short distance from the town of Feltre, between Mount Miesna and the Piave, is the Natural Reserve of animal and plant populations "of Vincheto Celarda.

Around 12 thousand visitors a year attend the oasis, with free admission, given a concession to the Ministry of Agriculture in 1881. In 1977 Vincheto was made available to the Council of Europe, with another 40 nature reserves of the State, for its inclusion in the European network of biogenetic reserves, effectively ratified 18 November 1992.

A sequential numbering of buildings that rise in height in the Central Station, Island, Varese, Farini. In that, at the center of the city, is the emblem of this transformation. We count in chronological order, from the Pirelli skyscraper tower of the new regional headquarters, towers still under construction. And we combine all the numbers with a line that traces the map of the city of the future.

The project includes two phases:

1) From December 1, 2010 until January 2011, the number series will be progressively installed on the towers involved. Each issue will have bright red color and height of nine meters;

2) from February 2011 until April 2011, the number of dialogues with the city, through a lighting scheme piloted by the authors and the public through social networks.

The installation will end April 17, 2011.
