Agordo, with the presence of mines, since 1867 one school prepares technicians for the world.

While visiting fairs and displays information that some of the 3,000 artifacts, the result of donations from graduates who have gathered in eighty countries around the world where they were committed to work, will be staged in the new home of the Mineralogical Museum of Palaeontology City Agordo, in the immediate vicinity the school.

Mining is also the seat of the Historical Library Archive with thousands of texts from the 700's. Guided tours alle Miniere della Val Imperina sono richieste da vari istituti nel corso dell’anno scolastico. Conferenze si svolgono a cura dello stesso Preloran per la parte mineraria storica, di Danilo Giordano per la parte geologica e di Tomaso Avoscan per la parte tecnica mineraria.

È in stampa il volume dedicato alla vita e all’opera di Friedrich Mohs, ideatore della scala delle durezze nato nel 1773 in Germania, a Gernrode, morto ad Agordo nel 1839.
