We received a report about this event as we have deemed worthy of note, with pleasure, and therefore disclose:

Association Together for the Aniene in collaboration with the Lazio Regional Council under the 2009 call For local projects for social, cultural and environmental value to the territory of the valley of organized the photo contest: "The people of the Valley tells Salvafiume dell'Aniene" .

"There was once a river that flowed
quiet and forgotten at the bottom of a valley.
A humble river which was mentioned only in exceptional cases
rains or when, in spite ,
carried downstream poisonous substances.
yet it was a famous river!
Along its course hunting and si accampava
l’uomo preistorico, vennero costruite torri,
“E come?”
“Raccontando di lui, con immagini e parole
che testimoniassero le bellezze degli ambienti
naturali e dei luoghi della storia lambiti dalle
sue acque.
Le immagini and the words could not ignore
But what was not really that great:
waste abandoned on the shore, foaming waters,
havoc of vegetation and more. But just telling
,
these men were convinced it was possible to change the future of this river
.
succeeded in the enterprise?
It is said that, over time, those few men
joined many others and soon the Valley
was populated by people of various kinds, from
even from distant places, but
united by a single purpose.
Those men are still remembered as the People of Salvafiume. "

Before Brazilian Wax Advilor Tylenol

fact, the cast was respectable, by Oscar winner Anthony Quinn Anna Magnani, Virna Lisi Rascel to Renato, a young man with Giancarlo Giannini.

The film tells a story based on a novel by Robert Crichton, that Wikipedia claims that the script is inspired by a true story during the German occupation in the country.

the fall of fascism, the people of Santa Vittoria - a country in Piedmont is famous for the quality of his wine - a wine merchant elects mayor drunk - Italo Bombolino. A few days later comes the news that the retreating Germans want take possession of all bottled wine, the only wealth of the country, kept in the store. Recommended by Carlo - an officer defector, who lives hidden in the house of the Countess Malatesta - Bombolino decides to play the Germans, hiding a million bottles in a cave from the Roman period. Having accomplished the task, which works throughout the country, and the Germans arrived, Bombolino delivery to their commander, Captain Von Prum, the remaining hundred thousand bottles, making sure there are others. Knowing that the mayor mind, Von Prum makes searching the country, but to no avail. Less submissive to him, two soldiers arrived with the task to wrest the truth from sanvittoriani but Bombolino can play them too.

opportunity for this might have been the Aniene Film Festival, but also the work of cultural associations that operate profitably in the Valley for some time could be the ideal vehicle to spread the positive sometimes this area can offer.

I lettori ci scrivono: Camerata Vecchia in abbandono

Cordiali saluti

I poli museali della Valle dell'Aniene

the wake of the Museum of Modern Art Anticoli Corrado, which originates from the remains of his Municipal Gallery of Modern Art opened in 1935, in 'last decade in various parts of middle and upper valley of new cultural centers have sprung up, small museums that recall the distinctive features of this area.

We are pleased to name a few, such as the Museum of Rural Life in Roviano, the Museum of Cultures Riofreddo Villa Garibaldi, The House of the Ancient tin in Gerano, il Museo delle Tradizioni Musicali ad Arsoli, il Museo Centro Studi sulla pittura di paesaggio europea del Lazio ad Olevano Romano.

The absence of a network, which in practice results in an uncoordinated, not conducive to any of these realities that risks can not fully express the potential of which they are provided.

a bell tower in the various centers, which increasingly tend to take small, sometimes combined with a superficial approach, has always prevented the Aniene Valley could have those qualities that could allow to improve the characteristics of which is pregnant.

Finally, after a troubled gestation begins tomorrow Aniene Film Festival, Cinema of the Earth.
It was scheduled last summer, but rather his lack of output in the locations provided, led us to launch a cry of alarm on 9 August in a post on this blog titled: "Aniene Film Festival: opportunity or event ghost ?.
In fact, the news about his conduct were relegated only on some Internet sites of the highly specialized field of cinema, while there is no information on local and national press as the websites of the municipalities involved in the event.

We were concerned that this could be an event remained in the drawer of some administrator or organization, without any basis in reality.
Fortunately though the event started late on the initial program and any changes to the website is hosted.
Municipalities of Subiaco and Anticoli Corrado, initially covered in the program of the Festival have been withdrawn for the benefit of the City of Roviano and to Arsoli.
The initiative debuted in theaters in Roviano Brancaccio Castle, where players will be from 6 to 8 Paolo Benvenuti with his "Cantamaggio" rediscovery of popular theater under the guidance of Dario Fo's "The hissing along the tarantula" by Paolo Pisanelli and then Luigi Di Gianni, Italian noble father of ethnographic documentary. Even Esmeralda Calabria and Joseph Ruggiero with the stunning "Biutiful cauntri" docu-drama on the award-winning investigation of waste in Naples, Alfredo Baldi, who will present a new and unique documentation on the manufacture of "Sun", a masterpiece of late Alessandro Blasetti, Finally, Gianfranco Pannone, with a selection of his works, including the last "manet immobile" on the earthquake Aquila.

Arsoli November 13 will continue to be the master Carlo Lizzani to open the meeting by presenting his recent tribute to his friend Giuseppe De Santis, authentic peasant director "of our cinema. It will then be the turn of Daniele Vicari, with one of his early work, the investigation on shepherds Macedonian "Wolves and Men" and Alberto Fasulo, with "White Noise", singular production experience that involves dozens of small towns scattered along the course Tagliamento River. On November 14, Sandro Gastinelli and Marzia Pellegrino, who praised the rural life of the Piedmont valleys will be guests along with Luca Guadagnino and his "farmer Cook and Joseph Peaquin with award-winning" In another world.
Among the titles in the program "Paul dans sa vie" by Rémi Mauger, Master Raymond Depardon with his "La vie moderne," another chapter in his personal documentation of rural France, "The Apprentice," by Samuel Collardey, "Retour en Normandie "by Nicolas Philibert, the Italian premiere," Home "by Yann Arthus - Bertrand, special reports on the health of the planet, an appropriate film of the year.
short, this initiative appears to convince both its thickness provided by the quality of the events that have managed to create a pole of interest involving the Aniene Valley.
We hope that the benefits that this may result in not limited to the occasional event.

Tivoli - Il World Monuments Fund include Ponte Lucano nell'elenco dei monumenti a rischio

We will this time is a subject that is outside the territorial range of our analysis, usually restricted to middle and high Aniene Valley.
We felt a duty in this case rely on the rule as the news that we examined appeared to us of interest to a larger thickness.
In fact, the WMF has decided to place the monument at Ponte Lucano in its list of monuments produced annually.

"The World Monuments Fund (WMF) is one of the most important organizations nonprofit that protects archaeological sites at risk of destruction, and every two years prepare a list of the world's most endangered monuments of destruction, the so-called World Monuments Watch. On October 6, 2009 in New York, Bonnie Burnham, president of the WMF has made the 2010 list of endangered sites, which includes 93 sites in 47 countries, and in this list there are areas such as Machu Picchu in Peru, Phajoding, a monastery in Bhutan The ancient city of Herat in Afghanistan, and other historic places endangered by wars, natural disasters, urban sprawl and
lack of maintenance. In this list there is also
Ponte Lucano, a symbol of the town of Tivoli, reproduced in many prints ancient. "Lo said in a statement, the vice chairman of the Provincial Council of Rome, Sabatino Leonetti." I have tabled a motion which expresses full approval for the decision taken by the WMF to enter the archaeological complex of Ponte Lucano and Mausoleum of the list Plaut 2010.
A draw world attention on this site has been a committee of local associations (Association of Rosa May, the Organizing Committee of Barco, Tiburtina Society of History and Art, Italy Nostra, WWF), have joined the Committee for the Recovery of Ponte Lucano.
The bridge is threatened with destruction from the floods of the river and the Mausoleum of Plaut has structural problems and the interventions di consolidamento per i due monumenti non bastano se il complesso archeologico resterà non fruibile.

Lo sviluppo di questa zona, lungo il fiume Aniene e nei near Villa Adriana, "has dramatically altered the character of the bridge threatened, as well as the ruins around it, flooding from the river but also by the payment of industrial waste in the same Aniene. "In 2004 - the international body points out - a plan whose goal was to
solve these problems, led to the creation of full concrete barriers: the barriers, however," failed to protect the vulnerable historic structure "and have complicated the access to it. He is also remembered as the mobilization of Italy and our citizens are helping to draw attention to this bridge, which presents itself as a "crossroads of roads, waterways, history and politics. "

The historical and cultural heritage of an area, belong to the people who live in it. This principle, which should be valid for goods whether they are privately owned or the state, should be even more entrenched when they officially belong to the community as their property title belongs to some public body.

We have learned from the press and by the news that this principle has been breached and, more specifically by the administration of the City of Subiaco: groped for it to side un disavanzo finanziario che grava pesantemente sul bilancio comunale, si mettono all'asta i gioielli di famiglia, un po' come andare ad un Monte di Pietà della pubblica amministrazione.

It should be at least consulted the owner of such property before providing a hasty disposal: the citizens. The local clergy came out opposed to this move, even complaining about not having been informed.

None of this was done: no referendum, much less alternative proposals to the sale.

The project, however, also leaves us perplexed about the economic value of alienation: we wonder who it could be as patron to invest millions of euro (such amount as provided by the mayor to rake) in order to enjoy personal places of worship.

Ci auguriamo di sbagliare, in quanto non avendo esaminato la delibera che avvia questo processo di alienation, we do not want to say what we do not have certainty. The article appeared in "Time", however, authorizes us to believe that the real intentions are others, namely to make a nice gift to speculators who have designs on municipal property now.

remains, however, strong doubts about the goodness of the operation, which in any case, sees the private citizens of certain historical and cultural heritage to start them to a fate unknown contours.

conclude with what is said in "Time" the pastor of Mount Livata:

"Why call these debts paid by their churches?" Asked the astonished pastor of Mount Livata, Monsignor Carlo Alberto Fioravanti. "I'm surprised. I knew nothing of this sale which I hope will never happen. You can not bind a place of worship even by Pope Pius VI visited in 1776. Of course, the property is communal, and we only use the keys, though - Pastor-concludes the whole community of the "mountain of capital" is fond of this historic chapel. "

The City of Subiaco these gifts to the ecclesial community churches rather than sell them to anyone: the population we are sure, would appreciate.

What Does Grecian Formula Do?

Subiaco e dintorni: giochi politici di ieri e di oggi

Subiaco Cemetery is shaded by cypress and elcioli; elcioli's dirty, and often, as they age, they threaten the tombs below. They can easily crash. The Subiaco City Council therefore decided some months ago to take away the offending trees, cypress trees and replace them with other advantageously. It was opened the auction, but it was found convenient by any contractor. The work, among other things, be at some risk: if a few large branch had fallen, breaking a tombstone? The damages would naturally have been executing the company agreed to cover. So the commissioner authority decided to intervene reduce by at least two of those blessed trees, their location and their age, were a safe risk. The work was entrusted to one of two capable people in the village to run it. The prefect immediately ordered a rigorous inspection.

Subiaco is the last elections, administered by a town center-left list. Previously the council was made up mostly of Democrats, Republicans and with the participation of social democrats. The coalition broke down due to serious differences of city politics, the timing was also favorable to an opening on the left, in consequence of the crisis of centrism. The PSI had kindled great hopes. After a particularly bitter election campaign, list the town managed to secure a sufficient margin of votes.

The new directors thought it best to calm everyone still too bright, they went by members of the junta resigned for a handshake peacemaking, made a visit of homage to the Bishop Abbott. They had, however, regret this step. Some of the citizens who voted for them went to complain they have been betrayed. It was rumor that the newly elected, not knowing where to begin their toil, they went to seek guidance and advice to older, experienced administrators. But this was only the beginning, because the system of the attacks, the accusations, the deaf pressure has never ceased since then.

The high valley of part of the province of Rome. It 'an economically depressed area, with an average income among the lowest in Italy. The settlers say they bought out the farm Abbey. So the earth is broken into parcels of a few cups each. Can be counted on the owners of more than five hectares, but the average is about one hectare. The small towns that overlook the valley from the ridges of the hills surrounding it are slowly depopulating; to Subiaco, where even in consequence of the post-war reconstruction there was a bit 'of money circulation, the population is steady or declining. The only industry of any significance is the paper mill, but the competition from manufacturers of Tivoli is very strong, especially as they are to take advantage of the special law of Tivoli, which is excluded from Subiaco.

For the campaign you do not see an agricultural machine: it is cultivated olive trees and vines, woven on low trees, grape gives lipstick and water. Pastoralism is in decline, also due to reforestation. The Province voted some time ago, the establishment of a Council of the Valley, a consortium of second degree that would coordinate the work of associations of communes. Except that the Christian Democrats, suddenly pulling out a new plan of organization of such groups, and make you join the majority of local mayors, also Democrats, delays the implementation of the project in the province. But the great hope of the population has yearned for in the inclusion of Subiaco in the case of the South. In fact, the high valley of a wedge is inserted deep into the territories to which extends the work of the Fund. The fact that Subiaco is the province of Rome does not seem crucial, other municipalities in the same situation were otherwise favorites.

The reason for this, and the population seems an unreasonable inconsistency is identified, rightly or wrongly, the opposition manifested at the time by which the Holy Valley Campilli to be industrialized. The fact is that the Christian Democrats, repeatedly urged to make known its stance on the issue, you always get by with excuses of various kinds. This has not prevented Andreotti on occasion to demonstrate his open support for this plan even if the bill was presented to Mr room. Viola, from the banks, namely, the opposition.

Now the speculation has taken the upper hand over all other considerations. Maybe Campilli have some more good reason to justify its resolute opposition (which however has never been made public, and indeed always masked, as stated above, under specious pretexts), but many have ended up doubting that we should boycott a common "red." Viola made his game and the electoral list town tries to embarrass the Christian Democrats. Now entered in the running too liberal almost absent in this area so far. A Subiaco have set up a new party headquarters, Arcinazzo have raised a controversy, accusing the mayor, Democrat of administrative irregularities and on this occasion, however, the prefect was not involved, there will be no investigation. He continued however, with commendable zeal, the work of pressure against the administration do not like to Subiaco. The matter of elcioli lasted months, with three subsequent inspections prefecture.

Another inspection was motivated by certain items that were running, changes made to the focatico of alleged political opponents of the junta, but also ended in a soap bubble. A final finally caught the pretext by contrast, found to be excessive, agreed for the performance of the work of a Roman architect, called to draw the plan of the town and the nearby district of Monte Livata, a plateau is intended, in the most ambitious projects, in competing for amenities and comfort to those already famous Arcinazzo. These inspections take sometimes end with the appearance of real investigation: can the party, people outside the administration are equally heard. Then there is the delay in the deliberations, some waiting for months, for example, it was not possible to provide to provide those involved in the sanitation of new equipment in time for the season tourist season. Pressure of another kind are made by private speculators who want to grab lots of off-plan ski mountain Livata. These speculators agitated at the prospect of benefits for the entire population of Subiaco, the municipality would be given a reasonable number of shares for the hotel in their intent to become a tourist destination in summer and winter. The undertaking would be ensured the participation of artists films. Entrepreneurs understand that may well expect a change in administration. This is floundering in financial difficulty. To remedy the deficit left by former junta, truly frightening deficits, is forced economies to the bone, or may use a calculator for Municipal and Provincial section of the Act excludes the common deficit. This article, on other occasions, put aside, but the exception does not seem possible to Subiaco. In addition, the pressures are intolerable, even if repeated, always with great effectiveness. In reality it is hoped to bring down the junta, as last time we managed to do some years ago in similar conditions.

The Sacred Valley does not allow interference.

LA SISMICITÀ RECENTE DELLA MEDIO-ALTA VALLE DELL’ANIENE (LAZIO): CONSIDERAZIONI GEOLOGICHE E GEOFISICHE

instrumental seismicity recorded from 1999 to 2002. You highlighted (in white) the main event of 11 March 2000 from 1999 to 2002.

period earthquake that has affected the upper middle part of the Valley dell'Aniene, which began in March 2000, has attracted some interest, mainly because the seismicity this area is still little known and studied and because the affected area is close to the capital. Following the main event (Md = 4.3 equal to VII MCS), various historical centers of the province of Rome, including the Rock sing, sing, and Cerreto Gerano Laziale reported extensive damage to the heritage historical monuments.

dell'Aniene The Valley is set to a number of tectonic features of which have a direction NW-SE Apennine and part antiappennica NE-SW direction. The geological formations outcropping in the mountains Ruffi (the sector most affected by the seismic sequence) were originally deposited in the transition area between the edge of the carbonate platform "Lazio, Abruzzo and the Marche, Umbria and Sabina facies. These sedimentary successions are characterized mainly by land-Cenozoic limestones and marly limestones. The seismic sequence showed that the western sector of the central been unstable of tectonic character. The area of Monti Ruffi is classified in the law concerning the seismic classification of the national territory as an area of seismic risk in second category (S = 9). From the literature it appears that the built heritage of the historic centers of the study area is relatively old (before 1919), so even a modest seismicity may affect the extent of vulnerability and seismic risk . The analysis of the seismicity of the area took into account about 150 events which occurred since 1997. In this work, were taken into account the locations of the three-dimensional events (as many of them own part of the seismic sequence of 2000), the seismic energy release in time and statistical evaluations linked to the Gutenberg Richter relationship. This analysis shows a first and important step in the characterization of the seismicity of the area.

Ruffi Mountains are a small chain that is located in the north eastern province of Rome, covering an area of 70 sq. km. They are delimited (Fig. 1) to the east by the media Aniene Valley, which separates them from Simbruini, south west are bordered by the river that separates them from Fiumicino airport near Mount Prenestini, also bordering to the north west with the mountains Lucretili Sabini, while to the south east border with the Monti-Affilani Ernici. The
Ruffi present with a morphology quite oriented toward the Apennine mountain range NW and SE, while the major peaks are just over 1000 meters of altitude.
The seismic character of this mountain range was known for some time, while there were few details of this interaction with the surrounding areas, in relation to the tectonic structures that characterize this area of the valley of medium-high. TECTONICS OF THE AREA AND GEOLOGICAL FEATURES

The land constituting the Ruffi are sedimentary and were deposited in a 'transition zone', which was located between the carbonate platform, which allowed for the creation of the series 'Lazio, Abruzzo,' and the open sea pelagic environments that enabled the creation of the geological series Umbria Marche Sabino.

We find, therefore, in this sequence Cenozoic calcareous soils and calcareous marl.
The only area that falls outside of this situation is the hill where the old town of Marano Fair. This material consists of limestone and Cretaceous age may be considered as a block of residual carbonate platform margin poc 'even mentioned. The oldest Cenozoic land, are represented by the 'formation of Guadagnolo' of the early Miocene, these are made up of marl organogenic and calcarenites. This training can be found fairly extensive in the northern sector of Ruffi and in the area northwest of Saracinesco, while in the central part it is observable in recordings valleys of rivers that flow into the river Fiumicino. Then there
above the formation of the sequence of Guadagnolo Limestones lithotamnion and bryozoans, which consists of bioclastic calcarenites intercalated with thin layers of terrigenous platform from the area. This formation outcrops in the central and southern mountains Ruffo (Mount Fossicchi, Sun Coast, Monte Cerasolo) on which they were built and developed the main historical area including: Sarcinesco, Cerreto Latium, Anticoli and Corrado.
Following the formation of limestones and bryozoans lithotamnion, due to the changing environment in which they are to re-establish the area of open sea conditions, you have the sedimentation of marls in Orbulina (lower Tortonian). These materials are mainly composed of sedimentary marl and marl limestone outcrops mainly in the central sector of Ruffi alignment along a NW-SE in the resort 'Le Prata' and 'Wolf Source'.
Then there is continuity in the torbitidi siliciclastic sedimentation (also the Tortonian). The latter consist mainly of coarse-grained gray sandstone materials. Note that training it has a discrete thickness is about 500 meters. These materials were formed during the compression phase, which occurred during the Messinian, when the accumulation of terrigenous materials from the areas in lifting diverged by gravity toward the low-lying areas located along the front of the Apennines rising. These materials are observed in siliciclastic paper mainly in the eastern and southern Ruffi.
After surfacing the area of the structure undergoes an erosion of the mountains, by exogenous agents, resulting in filling of depressions by the work of granular materials resulting in substantial deposits that accumulate in areas foothills to form the cones consist of stony materials distributed in a chaotic manner.
are also found in the area, a series of sedimentary material of continental origin such as red soils (derived from the alteration of limestone), travertine levels that in some cases reaching 20 m thick (most likely created as a result of the dam various streams in the area). The mountain range
Ruffi in general presents two zones with different tectonic behavior that can be identified by tracing a line running just north of Fair Sambuci to Marano. The first zone, north of the aforementioned feature, where outcrop sedimentary relatively ductile materials that are part of the formation of Guadagnolo and are characterized by mild anticlines that have a convergence towards the east northeast, in particular, they are observed in the structures of Monte Rotondo and Monte Macchia. Also in the northern sector of Ruffi have been described by some authors (AA.VV., 1998) a series of faults in the east-west.
Moving on to analyze the southern part of the Ruffo, which predominate in the surfacing materials of sedimentary formation known as bryozoans and Limestones lithotamnion, there is a tectonic structure consists of a series of monoclonal crossed with convergence towards the east northeast. Note that the latter have a tendency to lean in close proximity to major faults which have a direction Apennine (NW-SE). Another tectonic element that characterizes the eastern part of the Mountains Ruffi is about the presence of a tectonic alignment Anticoli-Olevano Corrado Romano (Caputo et al., 1974; Damiani, 1982) which represents a zone of intense deformation which occurs along the 'overlapping of Limestones and bryozoans on lithotamnion Torbitidi (Tortonian).

DATA ANALYSIS
historical seismicity
The medium-high Aniene Valley is located in the proximity of important areas such as the seismogenic Fucino, the eagle and the Frusinate.

The most important seismic events are shown in Figure A, which shows (Molin et al., 2002) that the first event, which occurred in Subiaco, dating back to 1879, is the fifth MCS. In 1941, Cervara of Rome, there was the strongest event that the catalog overs and that was followed for a couple of weeks, dozens of replicas (Di Filippo, 1943), yet in 1961, in the municipality Rocca di Botte, two events followed one another at a distance of two days, the VI and VII MCS. The last earthquake in chronological order, of which more later, is the latest of 11 March 2000 that hit the area of Canterbury priced VI MCS, this was followed by many replicas.
In summary, the historical seismicity of the Upper Valley dell'Aniene, although poorly documented, can be defined as poor. This fact is confirmed also by the recent inventory of active faults, which do not report the presence in the area (Barchi et al., 2000, Basili et al., 2000; Galadini et al., 2000).

“L’ALBERGO DIFFUSO COME STRUMENTO DI VALORIZZAZIONE DELLE AREE RURALI: IL CASO DELLA VALLE DEL GIOVENZANO”

Below is a very interesting document, a dissertation that has dealt with the tourist accommodation in the Valley of Giovenzano prepared by Martina Pascucci and discussed in 2007 at the University of Tor Vergata. We hope it will be a source of inspiration for the industry.

The fundamental reflection on which this work is that which considers tourism as one of the most important for the world economy, but also one of the most complex and interesting phenomena is the heterogeneity with which manifest, for the sweeping changes that affect this sector. Among the most important and obvious change is undoubtedly the shift from mass tourism, both in uniform and standardized demand and offer, or to the tourism experience new and varied forms of tourism that have made even more complex and competitive scenario of the Italian tourist. In this context fits, in particular, a different view of tourism, no longer synthesized in the motto "sun-sea", but more often based on experience, knowledge, exploration, interaction and debate. The new generation of tourists sees the holiday as a means of cultural enrichment, as experience in grado di arricchire ed accrescere la propria identità, la propria cultura e la propria interiorità. It 's a form of tourism that occurs mainly in areas affected by crises of varying nature and intensity, where the share of agricultural population and economic weight of agriculture are most relevant and where the geomorphological conditions and economic activities related to their location and the accelerated development of surrounding areas will often affect the growth and integration. In the present work will be in detail and highlighted the significant role that tourism now plays as a promoter of the development of marginal areas and depressed areas, with particular reference to a new form of hospitality in the villages which is popular hotels. The hotel is widespread - as claimed by the prof. Giancarlo Dall'Ara - is undoubtedly a new model of original accommodation and lifestyle that meets the needs of the new generation of tourists, offering the best hospitality in the home (authenticity), and the best in hospitality ensuring that all hotel guests the usual hotel services, the core consisting of the night on all services (support, service areas, etc..), and which has roots in the culture of our hospitable country. The word spread denotes a horizontal proposal is based on a strong focus on the environment, and compatible and easily perceived as authentic, as is essentially based on the recovery of the housing stock is no longer used for a location that was renovated with the utmost respect of architectural styles and materials of the time, and turned into small hospitality quality accommodation and value. It therefore reveals an innovative environmentally sustainable but also because it involves no structural and infrastructural, therefore, does not alter in any way affect the tip of land but only on the recovery and reuse of existing assets and finds its proper application in marginal rural areas and bring a priceless asset in terms of culture, history, traditions and the environment. One of the major strengths of this new formula of accommodation is undoubtedly a strong link with the territory, the possibility of recovering and promoting the Italian villages often intended to be subject to abandonment and depopulation, to tell the memory, art, flavors with the authentic witness of the local community. The idea was born in meat in the early 80s, currently in Italy there are 52 hotels Disseminated true, most of which were built with funding from the Community in support of regional and rural areas as the Program Objective 2 and LEADER I -II +, while an equal number are defined as such without having the requirements. Among the prerequisites There are particular location in a small country, with a few hundred inhabitants, but alive, living, animated, with all the basic services running but especially with the presence of the host community with a sense of belonging and culture of acceptance, availability some non-residential buildings in the country suitable for a restructuring for tourism, the provision of hotel services for all guests staying in the various buildings that make it up, the presence of a single management that is a management which is headed by a single is subject to the provision of key services relating to housing, both of the additional services provided, the need for professional management non-standard, but flexible and dynamic that can customize services, possibility of locating central facilities for the reception in a central position, center of gravity compared to the rooms and still close and easily accessible, then the forecast of a maximum distance between the buildings that not prevent you from offering to all guests of the usual hotel services (the distance can vary between 200 and 500m), the need of a style recognizable to an identity readable in all parts of the accommodation, which should not be configured as a simple summation of restored houses and networking. The management model of the Hotel Spread is undoubtedly one of the most complex of this formula, because this thinking is widespread in running a hotel like any enterprise, regardless of the territory and all its manifestations in which it is rooted not produce satisfactory results in terms of development and competitiveness. The integration with the territory, with its culture and its economy inevitably leads to widespread conceive hotel and the surrounding area as a single product and as such to be managed in an integrated manner with actions, activities, and projects directed towards the exploitation and especially towards the protection of the territory. For this reason and to reveal a new formula of accommodation especially innovative alternative to traditional hotel proves popular più spesso un ottimo strumento di gestione strategica del territorio.

Le realtà comunali appartenenti al territorio sono sette (Cerreto Laziale, Ciciliano, Gerano, Pisoniano, Rocca Canterano, Sambuci, Saracinesco), si tratta reality very small ranging from a minimum of 160 inhabitants to a maximum of 1123. All have the same territorial structure, these villages who take on the issue in the current period of battlements (XI-XIV sec.), Located on top of hills overlooking the entire valley, with defensive walls and castles. The municipalities involved belong to the Union of Municipalities of Valle del Giovenzano, an institution founded in 2001 that unifies, through the management of associated services, this geographically and culturally homogeneous. The main purpose of the Union is the development of tourism and economic development of participating municipalities, through in-depth and targeted marketing decisions area in which the project fits well studied. The Union of Municipalities of Valle del Giovenzano has in fact recently thought to Diffuse Hotel Project for the development of the municipalities that are part of it, to try to recover the historical and archaeological heritage and culture of particular merit of their city centers but also to enhance the development of these areas and encourage the arrival and stay of tourists in the area. Diffuse Hotel Project, in fact, not only to recover ancient uninhabited buildings to be used as the campground but is part of a larger project of enhancing the local and regional marketing strategies and actions aimed at improving the competitiveness territorial communities. For the development and implementation of this work were carried out several studies and researches in the field, while the material and data were provided to me directly by those involved in the design of the Hotel Project is widespread and institutions responsible for implementation (Province of Rome, Lazio, Gal-Aniene Tiburtino, IX mountain community of Lazio, Municipality of Pisoniano). In support of the information collected have been several discussions with the Mayor of Piso, and Chairman of the Union of Municipalities of Valle del Giovenzano, and the entire municipal administration with which I have had a significant and interesting mutual exchanges of information and expertise.

The first phase of this work involves above all a framework for the entire area intended to have a comprehensive understanding of the context in which to act. Once the area project would be desirable to establish the profile by assessing its "territorial capital" and make a diagnosis by doing so you can then determine an appropriate development strategy based on local resources, which represents an opportunity to analyze the project Spread of the Hotel as an integrated system of supply. The approach "territorial" allows local players to establish a development policy based on reality, the benefits (strengths), the limits (weaknesses), needs and opportunities in a specific area and this implies the need to consider the reality of the territory and its various components environmental, economic, social, cultural and so on. This first global analysis of the area in question shows a situation of general backwardness and delay: it is a region characterized by a common and unified mainly hilly landscape, where the economy is still the prevailing agro-forestry, a disadvantaged area in terms of topography and infrastructure, characterized by the presence of a large number of small towns and very small size, depopulation and aging della popolazione. All’interno di questa politica di valorizzazione si colloca il progetto Albergo Diffuso nella Valle Giovenzano of a project proposed by the Union itself, then by all participating municipalities, which was created with the intent to curb the continuous degradation and depopulation of Commons, due to the lack of adequate services, and to retain and make the population participates in projects promote the area.

The second phase of this work focuses primarily on a particular common member of the Valley Giovenzano, Pisoni, and on the project proposal by the municipal administration of the Hotel is widespread. The choice lies with the City of Pisoniano especially because it is the municipality that has shown a more active participation in the project under way and that is in a position advantage over other municipalities. In this phase will be identified and in particular the region's potential and possible development options of the calling area, analyzing the different structures present, identifying the unused buildings, renovation and discharged from the accommodation to be used or distributed to other functions of the hotel (reception , space, information points etc.).

Pisoniano is something very small town, currently has 780 inhabitants, situated on a hilltop (532 m asl) in turn dominated by the Sanctuary of Mentorella (1,218 above sea level) the destination of pilgrimages intense since ancient times. The municipality located within the mountain community IX Lazio, comes with its small towns as a place where you can find a living dimension to the measure as' man. There are many exploitable resources in the tourism, just think of the route as the Path Carol Wojtyla that connects the country to the shrine, the path I go to the Selva, the Path of Peace, which links the valley with the Shrine of the Holy Trinity of Vallepietra The botanical garden fountain house with many species of native animals, the Museum of Hemp, a single issue of the very few museums of civilization. The project spread to Pisoniano Hotel, proposed at the initiative of the City Administration is currently still in an embryonic state, and yet to be planned e sviluppare, ma la determinazione e la partecipazione attiva da parte dei soggetti coinvolti in tale progetto lasciano delle concrete speranze per il futuro. Turning to the joint project, this involves the construction of about 50 beds derived from the restoration and conversion of a plug of old barns on a plain sites, where the ground floor of these barns is expected the reopening of shops of local arts and crafts while the upper floor rooms will be obtained. The reception will be derived from the restoration of a former slaughterhouse owned by the city, while the lounge will be obtained from the recovery of an old container building by way of the towers, near the town library. The project also has agreements with local restaurants and farms, yet many in the valley, and various initiatives, from courses cooking and crafts, guided tours, participation in cultural events and activities. In conclusion of this work can be said that a project of this size and value can be a growth factor specific for these areas with a strong tourist vocation. These areas may in fact focus on tourism as a tool for revitalization and regeneration that allows especially to local residents to have an additional source of income, create new job opportunities more attractive to the younger population and to open new markets for products offered by agricultural land. Tourism and the formula of the hotel can bring widespread benefits also regarding environmental and social, pushing towards the restoration and enhancement of landscape and natural resources, architectural, historical and cultural community residing in creating greater awareness of the resource in the area. Ultimately, a product of such entity, whether organized, managed and implemented properly, through integrated planning and planned, can be a real source of competitive advantage for the locality by encouraging economic growth in a sustainable environment by improving the physical, economic and local social and community.

Lia Sophia Invite Wording

Odissea Cotral

Il 24 febbraio 1993 avviene la trasformazione in azienda consortile fra le Amministrazioni Provincial of Lazio, which involves the change of name to "Cotral" (Public Transport Consortium Lazio) until 2001, when the company was split into two corporations, one is in charge of road transport (initially called "Lines Lazio Lila or spa "then more Cotral SpA, but this time it's a company, as mentioned at the beginning), and the other one on iron, Metroferro Spa today Met.Ro (Rome Metro).
So this company is the only player to offer a means of public transport in this Aniene Valley, linking its towns, as well as between them with the capital, with the Valle del Sacco, with Ciociaria.
The large number of commuters on this territory, makes it an indispensable service that provides transportation to students who go in the only centers to be supplied to schools of higher grade, that is, Tivoli and Subiaco; it is also crucial for the students who go to university centers in the capital. This service also links with the centers of the Valley's hospitals in Subiaco and Tivoli, as well as with the various deans of the ASL RMG, which are located in Subiaco, Olevano Romano Arsoli and Tivoli.
Il Corriere della Sera said that in Subiaco only commuters who use the services of Cotral are about 5000, in an area of 33 municipalities.
The service should therefore be at least acceptable level, but often not the case.
associations of commuters and the media reported numerous hardships that are a challenge to those who use this public service.
fact exhausting delays, ghost racing, mechanical breakdowns are just some examples of what may happen to the unfortunate traveler. Terminus also abandoned bus unhygienic, reckless drivers complete a picture not very edifying.
add the stations along the main routes, such as Subiaco and Tiburtina there are too many, some of which are placed in dangerous stretches of road, like behind hills or curves. Near Tivoli and Subiaco are also so frequent that they actually seem more urban substitute for a nonexistent service that allow transport out of town rather quickly. Would certainly revised their numbers, leaving only a few key points and features confident as the straights.
Even the times and the number of races, especially to smaller towns should be reviewed. In fact you do not understand why Roman Arcinazzo to the number of strokes is five times greater than that to other towns in the valley of the same size, not to mention that it also passing through the direct routes to the Highlands Arcinazzo, Trevi nel Lazio, Fiuggi and Frosinone. All at the expense of other centers, which have to be content with some travel daily, further reduced in summer. Completely absent to severely inadequate, the ferries that link the tourist attractions of the Valley dell'Aniene, ie no rush to reach the site of Campaegli Cervara of Rome, just two races, unreasonable hours to and from Mount Livata, while the Benedictine monasteries of Subiaco Despite their international importance, the races are only indirectly linked to Jenne and reaching Vallepietra. Utopia might look a shuttle that connects to the Shrine of the Holy Trinity, despite the dozens di migliaia di visitatori annui.
Tickets and subscriptions have not seen more and more expensive to improve the services provided to users, who are forced to travel by foot, sometimes on vehicles old and in poor condition. Unfortunately the situation, despite the purchase of any new vehicle, does not improve substantially, but trascianarsi slavishly over the years.

I Think My Daughter May Have Pink Eye

PER L’URBANISTICA NEL TERRITORIO SUBLACENSE :RIFLESSIONI E SPERANZE

FOR THE URBAN AREA SUBLACENSE: REFLECTIONS AND HOPE Interview architect John Prosperi

incipient cultural awakening of interest centered on the territory Aniense by experts and working here, we want to point a scholar so far appeared as solitary JOHN PROSPER.

In a large room, he is known as an architect, painter, poet and educator in art and beauty. All this at a high level. Waiting for a monograph that makes "popular" and enjoyed by all its varied work, we give emphasis to its research especially in our urbanism territory (from Tivoli to all the High Aniene).
We do this through an interview.
UPSUBIACO
-Can you tell us what are the stages of his research in this field from the '60s to today?
ARCH. PROSPER
"I'm flattered that after nearly fifty years - almost a jubilee-territorial research, planning, town-planning and landscape of the Val d'Aniene (medium and high), the UPSubiaco remember most of my expertise in specific : urbanism. Since the 60 I sent my initial research, a university student in this area. It must be said that these early studies were valid even then, as the Professor with which I was working on was the famous city planner Louis Piccinato. Together with some friends
Subiaco presentations to the Secretary Victor Cervone, who showed some appreciation for my work. In short the study, prepared in colored cards (regional, territorial, local) identified in an original way of tourist (the Institute "Placido Martini" had chosen our area as "highly tourist area") that extended from Tyrrhenian coast - pontine fino ai Monti Simbruini ed Ernici.
Il comprensorio aniense, da Villa Adriana fino ai Monti Simbruini, avrebbe dovuto costituire il “Parco attrezzato Val d'Aniene "along the lines of those already existing in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige and then proposed by the Regional Plan for Tourism in the Abruzzo region, which I had reported.
The road structure was refocused on a dual carriageway, tracing, Mandela's former railway route Subiaco, with exits for each minor center, which would have made even the link road between the A-24 and A-', made up in its path Subiaco, the Highlands of Arcinazzo, Fiuggi.
The economic structure of support that tourism should be specialized agriculture consists of widespread planting of fruit trees and vines spread in appropriate areas, while the plain below Arsoli-Anticoli-Roviano would accommodate small and not impacting industrial settlements processing (jams, marmalades, wineries) next to the railway that has access to the Highway (Mandela) and, therefore, with low cost travel.
Tourism, the 'non-specialized farming and subsistence, the "soft" processors, they would have avoided the massive exodus and the deplorable phenomenon of commuting.
Monte Livata should have an expansion building (hotels, "residence" homes) limited area of the ring (with water supply facilities, di rete fognaria, di servizi :luce, gas, telefono, etc),progettata sui modelli del “town design" e, quindi, da uno studio professionale specializzato, lasciando così il territorio montano intatto integralmente.
This process is further treated with an update studies and commitments, including political and administrative level of local and regional level.
In the early '70s I worked at the National Institute of Territorial Planning, headed by Prof. Mario Cup. Produce, at my invitation, an interesting work of many hands, published by the CNR under the title "The Subiaco district." Among the many topics was an interesting approach to old problem of minor historical centers. It was made available to the City Council, Subiaco.
I just recently returned to the topic, with an essay by magazine sull'INCASTELLAMENTO THE valley of, to put in clear light the work of inculturation - and therefore valuable - the S. Benedict and the Benedictines, to the rise of the first democratic government. Someone more famous than me has used my work in outlining the historical hypothesis as an indicator for the formation and identification of a district. The
Arch. Subiaco Arnaldo De Luca, among others, appreciated my studio.
Recently I was invited by the architect. Fabio Orlandi Subiaco to take an interest again and again in the Subiaco area, using research-NEWS urban NOMISMA Institute of Bologna, put forth the hypothesis that the entry of the private money-more interested in safe results-in planning: the so-called financial planning. More work and other trouble which I submitted. But it is never too late.
UPSUBIACO
-particularly as the news of his proposals for Monte Livata?

ARCH. PROSPER

Monte Loivata today is not competitive, no tracks will appeal to skiers at a certain level. What, then, my proposal? Two sides to beat cross-country skiing (do not forget that on tracks designed by the architect. Lanciotti Louis and myself, was played in the Italian Championship absolute bottom in 1977). There is a growing number of practitioners of this specialty. But above all, a proposal surplus less predictable: the mountain of Livata so without danger, so gently slopes and the slopes can become the joy of winter families with young children. Again, safely and appropriately equipped with colorful and imaginative lifts, ski runs, ice skating, skiing holidays in technicolor. Could become a significant space for the promotion of the centrality of the human family. The "family Livata fest" is still a card can, for an economic development compatible with the current philosophy of the Park and with a catchment area, such as Rome and its hinterland.
UPSUBIACO
ARCH. PROSPERI
Il turismo religioso è un gran volano economico perché invests a large slice of p eople especially the elderly. I'm not confined to those visits to the Benedictine monasteries, but attach it to the approach with minor historical centers - still so full of interesting discoveries, and other spiritual centers in the area (St. Francis of Civitella, Sanctuary of the SS Trinity, S. Biagio, etc ....).
UPSUBIACO
-A wish for the landscape, urban planning, architecture and life of our environment and our communities?
ARCH. PROSPER
recently - due to the interest of the then Head of Culture City of Subiaco and now-Mayor Angelucci Pierluigi I printed a book entitled "The cult of the romantic sublime landscape." Here I tried to look the other way-for-note to return to Subiaco this image untouched that the artists of the pen and the chisel until the first half of the twentieth century, with their works, we have left. Perhaps sensing that the scenario was about to change.
This publication is consulted and, fortunately, quite popular.. "

thank Dr. Joseph Cicolini for having kindly made available the text of this interview, carried out by the Popular di Subiaco

RU486 abortion pill - a very simple question

note: we are not talking about abortion SI o aborto NO, in Italia l'aborto è legale ed è regolato dalla legge 194/1978, da questo dato di fatto si parte per discutere la questione.
Bisognerebbe lasciare le donne libere di decidere la pratica less affected their psyche, or choose between a surgical and invasive procedure that takes about 20 minutes and is often performed under general anesthesia and therefore without feelings and memories physical or non-invasive procedure that provides for 3 days but taking two different drugs and the expulsion of embryonic material conscious.

Resolved the issue with agility Ru486si Ru486no at its base, it can be more specific.

- One could argue that a less invasive, the higher the danger of pharmaceutical practice than surgical, Monsignor Elio Sgreccia, president emeritus of the Pontificia Academia pro Vita cites the cases of 29 women died as a whole the world following the administration of RU486 from the '80s until today. The first thing to remember that the drug has been studied and is considered safe by the World Health Organization (WHO) and is used in advanced countries like the U.S. and throughout most of Europe. Secondly you can not forget that every drug and every medical practice has the potential risks, there are no medicines or surgical practice is 100% safe and 29 cases in 30 years a small number, then it is true that comparing these numbers with the dead to surgical abortion mortality data is overwhelming (1 death every 100 thousand intakes of RU486 against a death every 1 million surgical abortions), but in evaluating the use of a drug can not only calculate the extreme and rare event of death, it must also be considered normal, and the data tell us that the problems related to the two practices are: pain, bleeding (longer with the drug), nausea both methods. Serious complications (occurring in less than 1% of cases) to surgical abortion trauma or injury to the cervical and / or the wall of the uterus, infection, severe bleeding, incomplete removal of embryonic tissue with consequent need 'a second intake, vascular blood clots (thrombosis), the risk of future ectopic pregnancy or infertility. For the pharmaceutical method instead the problems are: high blood pressure or incomplete expulsion, resulting in need 'of a suction to remove the remains of embryonic tissue remaining in the uterine cavity, method failure and continuation of pregnancy with suction with the need for further surgery.
sum up: in 99% of cases for both methods there are no complications (except the normal aches nausea loss of blood), the pharmaceutical method, however, is certainly not invasive. 1% of cases appear to be harmful or dangerous complications that belong to the surgical approach. Although rare, while mortality is 10 times higher with RU486.
The question is why in 99 cases out of 100 to zero for the health dangers some want mantenere una pratica invasiva?

I share that concern, that, as in other countries, abortion can pass through the purchase in pharmacies. It 's definitely something to be regulated, but the present state of things in Italy that is not what is happening, the AIFA (Italian Drug Agency) has approved the marketing of the abortion pill RU486, but be careful, not marketing means that the RU486 can be found at the supermarket, and even in pharmacies with a prescription, according to the dictates of Act 194, the use is only in the hospital, even if it is realistic, such as presages Ferrara, who probably (a less restrictive legislation in this direction, such as in many other countries there is not) the time of the expulsion of embryonic material will not be in hospital but at home, well, the topic is interesting. Here is the analysis: If
medical practice requires that the woman (informed about what happens to his body and that it will not be a pleasant experience) can eject the embryonic material home safely, then the house hospital is better, because it is a more intimate, more everyday and less terrifying than the average of Italian hospitals.
If the difference between making surgical abortion in the hospital and complete it at home (after a check and medical care) lies in the psychological support, then just read the introduction to psychological support, the woman who needs it will go to the hospital. But we must also remember that today does not seem to have a real psychological support for women who terminate a pregnancy by surgery, and even if in some cases there is, this support is at odds with the attempts of figures connected to the Catholic world that the hospital bother with their moral support women at that time are in a state of mind certainly is not peaceful. Even when these figures are not of a Christian charity are not present, there is often a medical corrupt, morally bankrupt , which can not prevent fatto l'aborto si vendica tormentando la donna.
Ferrara lo chiama feto, ma feto non è, perché diventa feto dopo 60-70 giorni, mentre la Ru486 la si utilizza entro 49 giorni; se la Ru486 you use it several weeks after conception then the surgical practice is feasible only after many weeks, and if this is a negative value is even more for the surgical practice, the pain is there even with the RU486 and this is true but risks are calculated and determined that it is a safe practice, and here we are at the important question: Ferrara still insists on the equation in that house alone if an injury, the woman not to abort if the hospital is alone, that translates into: the woman who aborts is alone, and this is not the reality may be that as it may be the opposite as can be for any other medical practice and any human being man or woman. The problem is in wanted to surreptitiously pass a difficult time for the main feature of the woman who becomes a mother, that depict a woman who aborts as a disaster, a sucker, a woman alone and desperate. Is not never seen instead as a woman who lives a couple of real, live, fulfilling a woman conscious, self-determined. Surely this juncture of his life will be difficult and sad but can not deny a lifetime, and a choice can not deny the presence of a companion, a friend, a family who know how to care for and comfort better than a doctor and especially foreign when evil from its position of advantage (because the doctor always has an advantage made available when a patient's own body) and its moral judgments is not no pity a woman who aborts deliberately.
And if a woman should be alone in this moment of choice, must be able to choose which medical practice, the less afraid and feel calmer.
's all, not a question but medical ethics, nothing could be simpler.

DDL security, Article 1 fighting clendestinità

photos taken from "Trout Fun Club" on Facebook, founded by Claudio Sabelli Fioretti

that the presence of illegal immigrants in Italy is a problem is undeniable. A stowaway even when they commit a crime, nevertheless, generate a series of problems and difficulties related to an inability to exercise certain rights and obligations.
Therefore I would not give an adverse opinion on the main part of ' Article 1, paragraph 16 that the introducing the crime of illegal immigration .
But if it is true that secrecy is itself problematic is also true that illegal immigrants are not just criminals, there are also people who are absolutely honest here looking for a possibility, and seek this opportunity to help families Italian, forage for our pensions, and take up some sectors of Italian (esistono inoltre clandestini che sono o diventano tali non tanto per essersi intrufolati nei confini italiani, ma più per essersi persi nell'italica burocrazia).

L'aumentata severità verso chi accumula guadagni sfruttando illegal entry into Italy is certainly positive, the crackdown on those who rent housing to illegal immigrants has a positive side (which, however, is economic: more apartments free, less income in black, and more severity to the Italian that greedy rent at high prices by exploiting the needs of illegal immigrants) and a negative (more difficult for illegal immigrants to find a home) that is added to a series of other measures in the abstract that follow the general idea of the fight against illegal immigration, but in reality are not only make life more difficult for those people who are indeed illegal, but they are honest (for example, costs for obtaining and renewing permission to stay as they are needed and how are they useful? Who uses the residence permit to stay in Italy and live in illegal activities has a far greater economic opportunities of a clandestine poor maybe because honest. In the other direction instead goes to the waiver provision that would have forced principals and health care professionals to report illegal immigrants).

New question: who is right or wrong, this road is effective?
Will we manage to wipe out the underground or perhaps honest significant number of illegal immigrants will be forced to gravitate to organized crime to continue to cultivate their hope for life in Italy?
I do not know if the logic of effectiveness can lead to this rule, however, what is evident is that this rule does not come from logic of efficiency, but two other needs.
The first is to solve the Italian and Mediterranean alone in facing a problematic situation from which the latita Europe.
The second is to satisfy the leadership of the populist Northern League, and then election and by implication its basin full of racism.
Both these strategies are the same that led the government to action on the edge of illegality or possibly illegal, that is, of rejection at sea for a problem that affects 15% of illegal entry (5% according to one of leading experts on migration) in Italy, and not insignificant part of this 15% has the right to stay in Italy. Why did you choose a much-discussed practice as blatant? Perhaps because the action by sea is one of the few able to stop one of the many streams, but also the only one that can boast of the numbers.

Finally a comment on the identification and deportation centers (CIE) and ADCs (CPT): 1 or 180 days does not matter, not worthy of a civilized country that will become centers for immigrants in some prisons theaters of militarized violence and abuse, which is not allowed in the visit of journalists, opposition lawmakers and outside observers.
